Maine Inside Out Builds a World Where Everyone Matters and Belongs

Maine Inside Out creates theater for social change in schools, prisons and in the community. Maine Inside Out groups create powerful theater to inform and engage the greater community in dialogue about social change.

Schools

MIO collaborates with student artists to create original theater. MIO is currently partnering with Portland Public Schools in Maine.

Prisons

MIO collaborates with incarcerated artists to create original theater. MIO currently has a project at Mountain View Correctional Center in Charleston, Maine and collaborates with other MIO incarcerated artists in facilities in Maine and nationwide.

Fiscal Sponsorship
